Happy Birthday

Megan is one month old today! I can't believe it! Justin and I have been parents for a month. The new schedule has really made time fly by. It still seems unreal most days. We are definitely still learning - and I am sure that won't stop for awhile. Here are some things we have learned:

1. Megan loves her daddy!
2. Don't wear anything you don't want to get spit up on.
3. Megan makes the cutest faces - she has about 25 different expressions.
4. Babies can cry long and LOUD!
   
5. We have the most beautiful baby in the whole world!!

Megan has surprised us so much. She is very strong! She holds her head up and looks around all the time. The nurses at my doctor's office were surprised at how alert she is! She is definitely taking it all in. We think we will be hearing a lot of questions once she learns to talk (just like her dad!). She sleeps like a champ! I truly expected to be up every couple of hours during the night for weeks. However, she has been going 3-4 hours between feedings since the beginning. Last night, she went 6 1/2 hours between feedings - sleeping 5 hours of that time! Her sleeping patterns are going to make it easier on me to go back to work - what a blessing! Also, last Wednesday we loaded up the car and headed to Birmingham, AL. Megan did great in the car. We had to stop twice for her to eat during the 12 hour drive. She slept most of the time. Since we are in Alabama for Thanksgiving, Megan will have her one month check up when we get home (December 1). We are so blessed and can't wait to see what the next month holds!
